Overview
Jake Inglis attended Paris Packaging Week 2025 as a member of the event's "Future Leaders Class of 2025," an initiative recognizing emerging talents poised to shape the future of packaging design. As a final-year Product Design student at Nottingham Trent University and a former Design Engineer Intern at Crown Holdings Inc., Jake brought a fresh perspective to the industry's evolving challenges.
During the event, he shared insights on the Circular Economy Stage, emphasizing the importance of innovation in sustainable packaging. Jake highlighted the difficulties young designers face in testing new ideas within an industry often hesitant to embrace risk. He believes that questioning established norms is essential for progress, aligning with his ethos of designing solutions that make people's lives easier by addressing real-world pain points.
Jake's participation in Paris Packaging Week not only allowed him to connect with industry leaders but also reinforced his commitment to creating impactful, user-centered designs. His experiences, including the development of Morphopaedics, a breathable, adjustable cast improving patient recovery, demonstrate his dedication to meaningful innovation in both healthcare and packaging sectors.
